Built on seven hills, Thiruvananthapuram is a beautiful seaside city. It is the capital of Kerala, God’s own country. Visitors to Trivandrum can look forward to have some great moments. Explore the city by visiting temples, mosques, churches, parks and other historical sites. Referred as the ‘Evergreen City of India’ by Mahatma Gandhi, the city has so much to offer to its guests. It is also proud to be the hub of major academia and several educational institutions and science and technology institutions.

Onam: If you happen to be in the city during the harvest festival of Kerala, Onam, then enjoy the festival to the hilt. Onam is one of the greatest festivals of Kerala when the whole state is thrown into frenzy. The ten long days of Onam is filled with exciting events of culture and tradition. It is the perfect time to witness the rich and diverse heritage of Kerala. Relish special dishes on Onam comprising of Avial, Banana Halwa, Coconut Chutney, Idli, Mor Kuzhambu, Dosas, Tomato Rasam, Palada Pradhaman and others on a banana leaf. Have a great time in the fairs and melas. Every house front is decorated by flowers, is a beautiful sight to see.

Museums
& Art Galleries: Know more of the city by visiting Napier Museum, Puthen Maliga Palace Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Museum Complex, Palace Museum and others.

Beaches: You can delight in the beaches that nature has blessed with the city. Soak yourself in the sun and relax in the beaches during your stay. Some of the beaches worth visiting include Varkala Beach, Shanghumugham Beach, Kovalam Beach etc. The natural beauty of Kovalam Beach makes it one of the famous hangout places. Enjoy the breeze as you sunbathe. Or you may swim or play aquatics. Gorge on delicious seafood that is served at the beachside restaurant. Buy handicrafts and jewellery for your loved ones at the shop that are spread along the waterfront.

The Backwaters:
Have the most amazing experience as you wade through the 'Backwaters' channels which end at Allepey. During the 8 hour long journey, you can catch a glimpse into the everyday life of people living there. Admire palm trees and the famous “chinese nets” while passing through the channels.

Elephant Farming: Spending a day in elephant farm can be the innovative way to make your visit to the ‘Evergreen City’ remarkable. Do not miss the opportunity to feed baby elephants and capture those moments in your camera. Riding on elephants and seeing elephants of all sizes can be the most appealing thing to do in elephant farming.

Have the opportunity to appreciate the various facets of nature in Thiruvananthapuram!!
