DATING, JAIPUR, WHEREABOUTS

You might think there are limited options to make your date a memorable one in Jaipur. Less places, few ideas and dearth of choices. A little bit of smart planning can make all that history. Think outside of that damn box! If you are willing to splurge all out, you might want to book a romantic balloon ride over the city with ‘Sky Waltz’. The one hour ride will set you back 12,000 rupees a person. If you’re not feeling that expressive and splurg’ish (hey sometimes people don’t feel that splurg’y alright? Right) so one can, alternatively, go on a camel/elephant ride which is just as romantic and super nice. ‘The Dera Amer Elephant Safari’ takes you along the woods through the hilly areas of Amber. This area is a protected forest, so one really is miles away from the crowd. :D

You can also visit the ‘Sisodia Rani ka Bagh’ and thought this idea seems really cheesy, it will prove to be a great experience for you guys. This is actually a palace built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh for his Queen. You will be surrounded by a beautiful multi level garden with pavilions, fountains and watercourses. The palace too has several galleries and pavilions. This can prove to be a great place to relax, lay back and talk and we all know all wonderful things begin by talking.

Afterwards for a fun twist, head to ‘Chokhi Dhani Village’ with your date. It’s called a living museum which doubles up as a resort. It brings all aspects of a Rajasthani village and culture to life. You can walk around the village and see Rajasthani dances, magic performances and puppet shows and if the previous ride wasn’t enough, elephant and camel rides too are offered here.
