Editor’s Note of Lodi Gardens, Lodhi Colony

The Lodi Gardens are beautiful gardens located at the Lodhi Road and situated about 3 KMs from the Humayun's Tomb. It houses the tombs of Sayyaid and Lodi Rulers and was originally designed over two dynasties - the Sayyids and Lodis. The Lodi Gardens were facelifted and beautified during the British times. These gardens are frequented every morning by fitness enthusiasts, joggers and kids. There are several tombs in this area and it also has a small but beautiful lake. With everything unique, this is truly an ideal place for picnicking, photography, jogging or just for a leisure walk.
