About West Suburbs

The whole stretch of West suburbs is a conveniently nestled and strategically important area in Mumbai. The district is collectively comprised of areas like Khar, Santa cruz, Juhu, Andheri suburbs, Vile Parle, Bandra etc. The area is a mix of some of the city’s oldest suburbs that underwent rapid changes over the period of time. The queen of suburbs, Bandra for example, started as a tiny fishing village, later it housed a good number of Christian populations and today it stands as a cosmopolitan place. Mumbai’s only river Mithi flows through the area and Western Railway stations located in many parts connect the district with other areas. Some of the city’s famous attractions, hotels, shopping complexes, and software companies are nestled here.
