The neighbourhood of Mulund is located in the north-eastern part of Mumbai. Close to Thane, it is within easy access to the Eastern Express Highway and Navi Mumbai through the Mulund-Airoli Bridge. On the Central Railway line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway, Mulund is accessible by rail. To rival the Queen of Suburbs, Bandra, it has been called the Prince of Suburbs. Using the Ghodbunder Road, one can easily reach Thane or Mumbai North-Western such as Borivali. With more than 8.5 lakh population, the suburb boasts of rich history dating back to the 21st century. From International Airport Terminal, Mulund is approximately 14 km and 32 km(approx.) from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. Mulund homes a good number of eating joints from where one can tuck into different varieties of tasty delicacies, from Continental to India. The Royal Challenge Restaurant & Bar situated on the Film City road is one place to be. Shopaholics can take delight in the fact that there are malls like Nirmal Lifestyles and R-Mall on LBS Marg.
