    Located at one of the most important commercial centers of Kolkata at Shyam Bazar, Tala Tank was built during the British regime in 1911. It was built on a 110-feet high and 321-feet wide platform. With a capacity to reserve one million gallons of water, Tala Tank is 16 feet deep. One of the most beautiful structures in the city, its cost of construction was Rs. 5 lakhs. It remains open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM.
