    The City Palace, located at Jaipur is a major landmark and a famous tourist attraction of this city. Other than being a historical monument that takes you back to the splendid era of the Rajput warriors, this palace offers a beautiful sight to behold. The Rajputana architecture of City Palace depicts the glory and charisma of the royal family. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during his reign and later further additions were made to the structure by his successors. This tourist spot is an example of great artistic work backed with a spectacular surrounding environment that would leave you elated. The premises consists several buildings like Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Mukut Mahal, Maharani's Palace, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. What makes the city palace further attractive and a must visit place for all is the two sterling silver vessels that are considered to be the world's largest silver vessels. It is open for visit throughout the week from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Entry charges are Rs. 35 for Indians and Rs. 150 for foreigners.
