Editor’s Note of Prakrit Art Gallery, Kotturpuram

Inaugurated in 2002, Prakrit Art Gallery has emerged as one of the leading players in the art market circuit. Connected with a charitable organization 'Mukti', the art gallery has emerged with the motive of procuring funds for assisting the amputees and polio victims. The gallery organizes exhibitions of paintings and drawings from all over the country, and also sells art pieces. Exhibitions are organized at intervals of one to two months. This gallery has also organized an overseas art exhibition. Prakrit Art Gallery provides opportunities to the upcoming artists and tries to promote their work. The gallery remains open for all and does not charge any entry fee.
