Editor’s Note of Prego, Nungambakkam

Prego offers fine dining experience with wonderful wine and food pairings right here in the city of Chennai. The international wine selections are a must try at Prego and the waiters are trained well enough to make you the best suggestions. The bread basket with herbed butter are the first thing on your table and deliciously done. All main courses are good for only one person and not generous in the servings. But they are delicious nonetheless. The restaurant is open both for lunch and dinner and seats about 60 persons. Pastas and other main course items are done flavourfully and the chefs are more than welcome to help you pair them with their wine offerings. You wouldn't however find any Pizzas on the menu. A meal for two without wine or drinks would cost about Rs. 2000. The best of the restaurant however is the wine pairing with almost every dish is done perfectly well. Must visit for an experience.
